BILLY FREAKIN MADISON!! WOOO!

BILLY MADISON

here's a list of 5 scenes that I thought were funniest (no particular order).

1) ..."Here's a nice piece of S**t!"
The burning dog crap part was funny to me because it portrays stupid mischief, and I can relate to some of it (no more detail).

2) "Ooh that boy's a fine piece of work all right. He's a fine piece of a** though, too!"
This is a funny quote to me because Juanita from the movie reminds me a crazy lady from my church.

3) Principal: Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Billy Madison: Okay, a simple "wrong" would've done just fine.

This is a very funny part of the movie, in my opinion. I find it funny because I have had someone go off on me with some rant like that, over something relatively small. Very funny.

4) "If peeing in your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis."

Ha-ha! Every time I think of this I laugh. One time, one of my family members pooped his pants (an adult) and I just find this strait-up hilarious.

5) Bus Driver: That Veronica Vaughn is one piece of a**, I know from experience dude. If you know what I mean.

Billy Madison: No, you don't.

Bus Driver: Well, not me personally but a guy I know. Him and her *got it on*. Woo-eee!

Billy Madison: No, they didn't.

Bus Driver: No, no, no they didn't. But you could imagine what it'd be like if they did, right...? Everybody on, good, great, grand, wonderful. [shouts]

Bus Driver: No yelling on the bus!

Chris Farley was an amazing, hilarious actor as well. This scene was funny to me because the bus driver is totally lying about everything, and I know some kids that are big time story tellers also.

Thats it! That is my 'Great Scenes' review of the greatest movie ever!

The Forest for the Trees....I guess.

This foreign movie showed the life of a lonely, first-year teacher named Melonie. She was a young woman who craved attention. Her problem was that she seemed desperate outside of the classroom, and couldn't control her students in the classroom. Her "friend" would become annoyed with her at times. Melonie would over think things as well. She became a wreck, so-to-speak. The movie comes to a close with her sitting in the back seat of her moving vehicle...No one else was in the car...Yeah, strange.

D.C. Comics- V for Vendetta and Dark Knight

D.C. Comics (and me) presents...

V For Vendetta & The Dark Knight

compare and contrast

Before studying both of these films, I honestly didnt realize that they were both D.C. comic-based movies. It was the first time that i had seen V for Vendetta, and I didnt realize that The Dark Knight was even a D.C. comic and not a Marvel Comic. I personally like V for Vendetta alot better than the Dark Knight. Now, dont get me wrong, I liked the Dark Knight, but I had seen it so many times that it just kind of bored me by this point, and the other movie was something new and fresh and interesting that I could really get in to.

These movies had similarities and differences, and that is obviously why I am going to compare and contrast the two.

The character portrayal of the two films was really close, but had its differences as well. let me analyze:
The Dark Knight: He was a hero that the public looked to in times of need. When Gotham needed him, he was there to handle the bad dudes. BUT when the joker came around and was killing people and said he wouldnt stop until Batman took off his mask, the people of Gotham City turned on the Batman and blamed him. So in some eyes, Batman was a hero and a villain, but definitely leaned more to the Hero side of things.
V for Vendetta: The same can be said about "V" from V for Vendetta, but in a reversed way. At first, he was just a villain and a terrorist in public eyes (enforced by the government) and people feared him. BUT throughout the movie many people came to admire him and what he stood for when standing against the government. The thing that burdened "V" and made the general opinion lean more towards the villain-type is the fact that he killed people to make his point, even if he had good intentions.

What about the plots?
In a nutshell, both of our main characters here had intentions of making the world a better place and to be rid of corruption. Both movies show evil at their finest, but in different ways. V for Vendetta showed an angry individual who was kind of evil himself trying to be rid of the severe evil that was the British government. in the Dark Knight, Batman, with the help of some government officials tried to eliminate the evil that was gangs, and more specifically, the Joker.
Now, if you havent seen either of these films yet, or have seen one but not the other, i STRONGLY consider you watch both of them and see for yourself the comparisons D.C. Comics layed out. Huzzah!

Cinema Paradisco- school pictures...relationship

This Photo we took of kelly Holding an umbrella near the train station, in my mind, resembles that of when Toto left Giancaldo, Sicily. He is glad to be leaving but at the same time feels sadness about the departure.

This is a picture of me. Now, I know you might be wondering how this compares to the Movie Cinema Paradisco, but we took a broad view on it. You see, this picture shows my disappointment when I didn't get my water from the machine. This is tied to Cinema Paradisco when all of the citizens were disappointed when the priest would cut out all of the kissing scenes in the films.

Mike is obviously looking out of the window. This resembles how Toto was told by Alfredo to leave into the outside world and never ever look back or return.

This is me again. Yes, I'm listening into a women's' restroom. No, we don't actually do this in real life, but we can compare this to Cinema Paradisco in one word: mischief. Toto got into a lot of this in the movie, so we thought this was an appropriate picture.
